VIM Features
All Vaccines For Children "VFC" providers are required to enter vaccine lot number, manufacturer, and vaccine eligibility (insurance type) in to the MCIR for all administered VFC vaccines. This information is used, by MCIR, to automatically deduct doses from the MCIR Vaccine Inventory Module(VIM). Providers then use the MCIR VIM to routinely count, report, and order VFC vaccine inventory.
